Redlands Primary Care in Crediton has welcomed a visit from the town’s Member of Parliament. The purpose-built GP surgery and health hub opened in October. Mel Stride was given a tour of the by Deputy Practice Manager Karen Hoskins, met around twenty members of staff, and caught up with Practice Manager Richard Ward. Mr Stride had previously lobbied the Secretary of State for Health for funding to help get the project off the ground.
He said:
“It was great to meet the staff at Redlands and to sit down with Richard and hear how the move has gone. I have no doubt the fantastic new facilities here will help staff deliver excellent care and create an environment where patients feel comfortable and staff enjoy coming to work.”
