Mel Stride MP dropped into Holy Cross Church in Crediton today to support the town's annual Christmas Tree competition. The event, which was not held in 2020 due to Covid-19, was back on, displaying decorated trees by local schools, clubs, societies, groups, charities and businesses. The event brings people into town, serves as a vital local fundraiser for the church and is a reminder of the local groups and charities that are at the heart of the community in Crediton.

“Having missed out on the Christmas tree festival last year due to Covid, I was not going to miss this year’s event. Some really amazing trees and a great local fundraiser!”
